This project was to create an album cover, folded CD sleeve, and an in-store Point of Presentation  for a new album of an artist of my choosing.

 

The POP is a rustic reclaimed wooden crate shadow box, echoing the cabin design of the artwork as well as the overall 'feel' of the music. The design was layered to create depth in combination with drop shadows. Some of the stars are painted with glow in the dark paint and glow much like they do in the night sky.

 

The album name was created using lyrics of the first single that was released while creating this project. The big dipper bear, also a symbol of Canada, is shadowed throughout the artwork connecting the Canadian artist with the starry sky motif. The physical CD itself would be printed with the 'star-map' design to follow the stars yourself. A tour date poster was designed to be a hand out with the POP in stores.
